I found this pinball machine in a garage in Washington State about 30 minutes from the border. It was really dirty. Comically filthy. I don’t know how long it was sitting there, but I imagine a long time. The cabinet is rough, chipped, dinged and faded. The playfield, plastics and ramps all seem to be in really good condition. I guess the nice thing about a machine hidden away in a garage for a decade or more – no one is playing it and wearing down the playfield.
With a quick inspection the boards look more or less healthy. Nothing fried, corroded or scorched. It powers up but has some issues. A few of the displays are not working correctly.
I have high hopes for this pinball machine. I think it will clean up nicely. It will take a few gallons of Simple Green to get there though.
